I am looking for family with either the surname Kemeny or Hochfelder. They were from a Hungarian shtetl with a name similar to Nagybitsche but moved to Budapest before coming to New York. My grandmother, Valerie Hochfelder Kemeny, came here in as a youth and was naturalized in 1948. My grandfather, Emil Milan Kemeny, came as a young man and was naturalized in 1905. He was an interpreter at the Essex County Court House in Newark, New Jersey. His most interesting case was the Lindburgh/Hauptman kidnapping trial where he served as Hauptman's interpreter. Some Kemeny relatives went to Milan, Italy in the early 1900's. I would be grateful for any additional information.
